LAUREN BENSON: People who have that bug for emergency, it doesn’t leave you. RICHARD ROSARIO: Emergency medicine is tough, right? We’re not seeing cute little puppies all day. MONICA STERK: All we do is emergency, and all of our doctors are emergency doctors. Everything in our company is bent towards making it that way. Let’s figure it out.ĭAVID BESSLER: Each VEG hospital is built from the ground up, focused only on emergency. MICHAEL HYDER: In my case, VEG talked about their program and said, we want to be the superheroes of ER medicine. And you’re going to become an emergency vet, which is the best way to practice veterinary medicine. And I’m like, you’re about to become a veterinarian. MICHAEL HYDER: Whether it’s a position that they’re inventing for you, or you say, hey, I think this is something that our company really needs. Things change every day.ĭAVID BESSLER: What I’m proudest of is that, reliably, we can bring almost anybody into our company and they will find their why. MARIAH WILLIAMS: That’s big, unlimited continuing education. LAUREN BENSON: They allow us to find our passions within emergency medicine itself.ĭr.
